2 sections from my spiral staircase

These are two sections taken from my spiraling staircase.
I used a sectioning plane in SketchUp and then drew it by hand.
The left one doesn't go through th column while the one on the right hand side does.

Comment on Koray Altiparmak's stairs representing "delusional"

Koray Altiparmak - UNSW: BEFORE STUDIO SESSION 1

I chose this video because it relates to Rosaline Gascoigne's piece from the series Melbourne 2008. The noun Hallucination is relevant to her piece of work.

Materials and procedures - Rosaline Gascoigne - Melbourne 2008

This piece from Rosaline Gascoigne is from the series Melbourne 2008.
In this image Rosaline has taken various photos and used a photo editing software such as photoshop to put it all together. It appears that she used different layers and played with attributes such as the opacity of the photos.
Everything appears to be ghostly, take the girl for instance.
Then she took a light bulb and duplicated it, making it hang down from the ceiling and positioning them at varied distances from the front of the page.
She probably used a colour laser printer to develop the image. Sorry there isn't much info about this.

Material and production method-Fiona Hall-Divine Comedy

This piece of art is from the Divine comedy series. From what I could find, aluminium from soft drink cans was used against a dark background.
I'm not sure what was used for the background, but she must have used scissors to cut aluminium.
One of the techniques she used is called scoring. Scoring consists of using a scoring tool which is usually blunt to cut a groove in a flat object which can then be snapped, folded or bent, as I think Fiona did.
Other techniques used were shaping and beating. I couldn't find much info on beating and I'm not an artist but I suppose that she used a small type of hammer to shape and smooth the rounded surfaces as required for this piece.

The Devil's bridge

La Ponte del Diavolo is a gorgeous bridge, near Lucca in Tuscany.
My family would take friends there when they came to visit us in Italy and everyone agreed it is beautiful and has an interesting story.
Locals say that it was built by the devil himself on the condition that the first soul to cross the bridge would be his.
I don't think he was to thrilled when they sent a dog over.

The Royal Palace in Caserta

La Reggia di Caserta is a stunning palace designed by architect Luigi Vanvitelli. It is probably the largest building to be erected in the eighteenth century and has the social structure of a small city.
I found the gardens which are over a mile long to be facinating, with their cascades and sculptures.

Mick Doohan

This is my addition for the piece of creative work at high school.
I attended high school in Italy and we didn't do much art. I ended up choosing this piece which I drew for my father in 1999.
It is of the former MotoGP rider Mick Doohan who won 5 consecutive world championships, the last in 1998.
