When I designed my unreal environment the main phrase which I focused on apart from the electroliquid aggregation for Jacques Cousteau's lab was this:

For Nobel I focused on the concept of nobel prize and his invention of dynamite not being used for it's intended purpose.

A gloomy vision

The whole structure is a sinister and shadowy sight.
Not the kind of place where someone like Cousteau would enjoy working.
Or maybe it's just a gloomy day.........

The green light below the platforms of Jacques Cousteau's lab represents a room which is inaccessible to anyone. What lays inside is mystery

Texture from light to dark ,enter Nobel's refuge

Upon entering Nobel's lab the visitor can experience the progression of light to dark textures on the curved walls.

Outside Alfred Nobel's lab

The seven entrances to his laboratory represent each of the Nobel prize categories implemented by the scientist.
The largest of these symbolizes what may have been the most important of these awards in Noble's eyes, the piece award.

View of meeting point, "The inaccessible place"

Here is the view from the balcony of Jacques Cousteau's lab. A visitor can experience the seemingly "inaccessible" and "unknown" places down below, which the ramp on the lower level leads to but there is no way of knowing this until he descends that ramp.

The meeting point is underneath the sloped roof. The idea behind this is "protection", because both famous men sought to protect something, whether it was the underwater world or preventing people from going to war.
The room is barely visible and well sheltered.

The ramp from Cousteau's lab to the meeting point is set on a steep incline which is impossible to walk on, the only option is to slide down and discover unknown endpoint which it reveals.

The second ramp is the sloped roof of the meeting point. This roof is being used for a purpose which roofs aren't usually meant for as was Nobel's invention of dynamite.

Jacques Cousteau's lab

Jacques Cousteau's obscure lab is an image of gloom and darkness.
This ties in well with the electroliquid aggregation. Here in this lab I can imagine the great explorer sitting in despair, his dreams and hopes drowning as if underwater, the place which he always loved.
